Most homeowners inspect a renovated home once or twice. We came back five times. Because integrating multiple brands into one seamless system takes longer: more setup, more discussion, more fine-tuning.
Smart living wasn't stitched into the interior design after the fact. It was planned from the very first sketch, becoming an integral part of the home's sophisticated language. The result is neither a tech showcase nor a compromise, just an intuitive, unobtrusive, and deeply comfortable living environment.
In the living room, we installed Aqara smart switches and recessed downlights, paired with an Acorn ceiling fan. The switches provide seamless control over the lighting, while the downlights offer a clean, focused ambient glow. The fan blends quietly into the space, keeping the room comfortable without interrupting the clean, uncluttered look.
Most dining rooms have one light and one switch. This one has layers. Above the table, the Aqara H1 Magnetic Pro recessed track light. Around the perimeter, smart T2 downlights and track lights, all wired to the new Aqara Z1 Pro series switch. One tap, and the whole room responds. No hunting. Just light, exactly where and when you need it.
In the hallway, the walk lights are connected to a smart switch and two motion sensors. So no fumbling for switches at night; the lights just know when someone walks through. A small touch that makes a real difference, especially for the family's helper and the elderly grandmother.
The kitchen was designed around how the homeowner actually cooks, bakes, and hosts. A white Acorn corner fan complements the white walls, while a recessed Nexen power track built into the island keeps the space flexible without cluttering the countertops with scattered outlets.
As the kitchen features a relatively high ceiling compared to a typical HDB, we recommended installing multiple 6" WiZ downlights to evenly flood the space with light, creating a conducive yet comfortable environment. These are paired with pendant lighting above the island to provide focused task lighting, where the homeowner bakes, photographs her creations, and conducts baking lessons.
Afraid of the dark? 👻 Heading to the fridge for a late-night snack? 👀
Our motion sensor and wall-mounted step lights automatically light your way as you approach, then switch off 30 seconds after you leave.
No switch to find. No lights left on. Just smarter lighting that works around you.
The master bedroom pairs Aqara T2 downlights with the Z1 Pro switch for seamless control over both brightness and colour temperature through a single slider. the strategic placement and spacing between each light enables the backsplash to stand out naturally, without creating harsh shadows. A KDK ceiling fan was chosen for its quiet airflow and reliability, helping the space stay comfortable without disrupting the calm atmosphere.
When nature calls, natural light makes a difference. This is where the Aqara skylight and T2 downlights work their magic, keeping the area bright and balanced, whilst bringing out its depth and texture of the undulating tiles.
The attic features entertainment room. With a projector, mini bar, and a white Acorn corner fan. Against the sloped roof, a magnetic track runs parallel to the angle with WiZ GU10 smart bulbs. Both the corner fan and bulbs are wired to a single Aqara Z1 Pro switch.
The guest room was designed for comfort and flexibility. A white Acorn corner fan keeps the space airy without taking up floor space, while Aqara T2 downlights connected to the Z1 Pro switch allow the lighting to shift easily into a softer, more relaxing atmosphere.
